Description

Yes, some morons think that the corner (standing in the corner or naughty corner) is child abuse; answers.yahoo.com/question/ind…
(there were more links but I lost them, and the internet at the library sucks, so I'm not going to bother to waist 10 minutes finding a few more links. P.S. anything that has to do with Yahoo! Answers, read both the question and answers)

People are against the corner because, 'It's humiliating', 'It's shameful' 'It's abuse because they have to stand'. God damn, people are pussies when it comes to children. What is it about children that brings the pussy out in adults?

I got put into the corner. I hated it but, I don't have PTSD from it, and I learned. BUT, I also had a big ego as a kid, the corner hurt my ego, and I didn't like that, so I learned not to do what ever I did again. Yes, I was 'humiliating' but I fucking learned from it. Anyone who claims it's wrong is a pussy.

Yes, standing for a while will hurt your legs, but you know what? If the kid keeps moving around or talking, keeps getting the time reset, and his / her legs hurt, he / she will learn to not move around or talk while standing in the corner, because he / she knows that the time will keep getting reset, and that he / she will have to stand longer. It's not exact science.

99.99 % of child abuse, is not child abuse at all.

Personally I still believe fully in the spanking. There is a fine line between spanking and abuse.
But I will only use spanking after the child has been warned and either grounding or corner.
Because let's be honest, sometimes the latter two won't work. It all depends on the child.
