Stamp: Respect your- Oh shut it

I'm so sick of people that preach "Respect your body." It's a bullshit group / movement that, well preaches to women to respect their bodies. Seriously, just because a woman isn't doing what you want her to do with her body, doesn't mean she has lack of respect.

They preach 'respect your body', but you know what they do to women who don't 'respect' their bodies? Shame them, insult them, treat them like trash, teach their kids to treat them like trash. Hmmmm, so much for respect. Most of them are also victim blamers So basically a woman not doing what they want her to do with her body is lack of respect, but another person forcing themselves on another is fine. Gotta love that logic.

The respect your body movement has never been about 'respecting the female body' it's about controlling them. Nothing more, nothing less. I hope that one day, it will be seen as the misogynist group it truly is.
