Think about it they are. They simply want the baby to be born, but they don't give a rat's ass, what the mother went or will go through. They don't care if the child will grow up depressed or turn out to be a drug baby, that has problems his / her entire life. They won't help pay for school, food, entertainment, appointments or anything else. And if it was a rape baby, he / she would find out sooner or latter and feel really guilty about it.
If everyone wants to live, why are the suicide rates so high? Why do you care if someone you've never met will abort a fetus? Why should a raped 15 year old have to keep her nightmares child?
And as for adoption, not every kid gets adopted, not every kids gets placed into a good home. And what if you decide to keep you next baby, and then the one you kept, met the one you gave up for adoption, and they fell in love, not a pretty picture now is it? And what if the child committed suicide because they were adopted / put up for adoption? It's not uncommon ya know?

With me, I'm ever keeping it, or aborting it. That simple. And before anyone asks me how I would feel if I had been aborted: If I had been aborted, I wouldn't be around to give a shit, that I had been aborted.

Basically, my view is that abortion is not to be taken lightly.
We all have a decision to make, and seek help where we think best suits us. 99.9% of the time, a woman would think everything through before getting an abortion. The fetus is a person, but it would be cruel to put a child through life on limited resources and a stressed mother. The mother would not be ready, and may unintentionally abuse the child. She has to balance school, working and the baby at a young age, usually alone. This causes strain on the mother's parents too. Adoption is better, but the mother (if she choses to be one) will have to pay medical expenses from the birth. Birth is harmful to a young body. The mother has no control on what the adoptive parents do. There are several homeless children in orphanages all over the world, looking for a home. Abortion is much less harmful. It is usually done early so there is no pain felt. She won;t have to worry about raising a baby until she's older or ready. Counseling is offered if there is pain after it.
I like informed choices. Thats why I am pro informed choice.
Prolifers don't understand the stress and cost of raising a baby. They don't know the mother's situation. They don't know the damage that is done to a young body. Plus, planned parenthood offers cancer screenings.
