Stamp: Kiara didn't replace

Loads of people think that Kiara replaced Kopa in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride.

Well, Kopa was NEVER an idea for Simba's cub in the sequel. Disney had planned to give Simba and Nala boy-girl twins who were named Shani and Chaka, then they dropped Chaka, and changed Shani to Kiara. Disney had a lot of names picked out for Simba's cubs, but Kopa wasn't one of them.

Kopa wasn't even made by Disney. 5 people who work(ed) for Groiler Books, got Disney's permission to make some short stories about TLK. So Kopa is as canon, as Nala's long lost rainbow sister with wings is.

If you where to go by the canon TLK tree, Simba's (one and only) cub is, Kiara.
