In response to all of the "lolololo suicide iz fur puzzies und iz sulfish lololol!111!!"
Yep! If suicide is selfish, than so is cancer, diabetes, anorexia STD's and aging.
If someone overeats to much for to long, they will get diabetes, I guess, their selfish because they kept on eating, till they got diabetes. Hell, my family says fat is a form of suicide (but they're also veryjudgmental of fat people). Same with anorexia, the people could have do something about it but they didn't! And the STD's, the people shouldn't have been doing drugs, or fucking everyone^^ Cancer, some people get cancer through stuff they have done (i.e. eating certain foods,smoking ect). And what about people that age (i.e. 100% of the human population), ever year we get closer to dying, AND WE DO NOTHING ABOUT IT!!!111!
^Personally, I don't believe any of that stuff is truly selfish, but, I'm just giving examples. Hell, if someone has cancer, and is in a lot of pain, I wouldn't blame them for just killing themselves and getting it over with. Seriously? Why should a person in excruciating pain, live just to entertain you? Wow....I thought the person that killed themselves was supposed to be the selfish one here.
And if anyone had / has a family member / friend that died, because of one of those things, I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to belittle you or them.

My athletics coach of one year committed suicide three days ago, leaving behind two daughters and God knows how many other people who care about him. I had no idea that he stuffed from depression until I heard about it before the funeral. I don't know if he was just really good at putting a brave face on things or if he'd just gotten used to the feeling. My point is, I know he loved his family and anyone who ever got to know know him knows that he was always kind, never the least bit self centered and was extremely capable of making sacrifices for others . I can only assume that what caused him to take his own life was something beyond comprehension to anyone not experiencing it. I don't believe that he would have been overcome by a selfish need to get out unless it was reinforced by a deep emotional disorder.
