Description

A lot of people will want to drop out because they don't want to, get out of bed, go too school, do the work, not be sleeping all day. In other words, they don't want to go to school, because they're lazy.

My boyfriend's ex girlfriend had to finish high school in order for her to be on disability and he tried his best to get her to go, but she didn't go because she was to lazy to get up in the morning, go to school and do some work. My friend, who is 18 1/2 is thinking about dropping out and getting her GED because, she's failing most of her classes, her boyfriend wants her to drop out because, "I don't feel comfortable dating someone in school." (he's 28) and because she just doesn't want to do it.

My dad dropped out because his grades sucked, and because of that, he couldn't play basketball. My cousin, Carrie, got pregnant at 16 (had her daughter at 17), and dropped out because of that (we have birth control for a reason people!). My friend's brother dropped out because he wanted to play video games and watch tv all the time, and was too lazy to go to, according to her, he wanted to graduate and get his diploma, but he obviously didn't want it that badly or he would have went.

I was bullied all through elementary and middle school, by both teachers and kids, than in high school, I was only bullied by the teachers. I had a hard time getting to sleep every single night, so when I got up, I was still a little tired. And there was a bunch more shit, but I don't feel like listing them all :p Even after all that, I stayed in school, and graduated. And from what I've heard, getting your GED is hard, you have to pay for it, and pass everything on the test. Getting a high school diploma sounds easier than getting a GED ^^

TL;DR Stop being a lazyass, and go to school. Having that diploma will make everything you when through worth it :)

Not trying to be the devil's advocate but the GED isn't as hard as people make it out to be.  I'm planning on taking my GED but instead of just sitting there once me and my dad move I'm going to try to get a job  and then enroll into college.  Its not because I'm lazy its because I have autism and other mental problems and it gets annoying constantly having teachers try to teach me things I already know.
