Stamp: Gift Card for Christmas

So, this year my boyfriend and his family suggested I give gift cards for Christmas. I was hell bent on not doing it. I'd never done it before, and I was planning on not starting.I hated the idea so much, I told my boyfriend that I'd do it, just to drop the conversation. I didn't want to talk about it, nor did I want to think about it.

Later in the year, I came to my senses and realized that it was the best thing, and got the gift cards. I at first thought that it was only one year, and next year I could get them other things, now I changed my mind, I'll get my family members gift cards every year. I no longer see it as 'impersonal' or bad. And sometimes, the person would rather have a gift card than something else.

I can honestly say, I'd rather get a gift card for Amazon than a shitty present.
