People say "Be the bigger person." I say fuck that! Why should someone keep putting up with someone's bullshit just to be 'big'?
Jeesh, and I thought it was only children that did and said things to make themselves feel and / or look big
Anyway I don't care if not
being a doormat makes me a bad person, I was one for way too long and I'll be damned if I go back to that kind of life!
"Be the bigger person" is another way of saying, "Let people walk all over you. And if you don't, you're the bad guy."
Seriously, why should someone keep being the bigger person, if the other person is never going to appreciate it, or learn? Sometimes, the
only way to make things better, is to not be 'the bigger person'.

Being the "bigger person" results in too much passivity half the time. Even if you just "walked away" the "smaller" person taunts it as a cowardly retreat. I think in some cases you should fight fire with fire.
