I'm so sick of people saying, "He likes you." as an excuse for boys bullying girls :| It is NOT a fucking excuse, and it needs to fucking STOP. Any time a girl gets bullied by a boy there is always some sort of excuse for him. It's bullshit.

I was tortchered and tormented all through elementary and middle school by boys, and all the teachers and my family said was, "He likes you." Yes, because treating someome like shit means they like you and that you will or should like them back :| All it did was make me hate them.

Insted of telling girls that they need to 'sit in a different seat' to be away from the boy bully, how about we stop the boy from bullying. We need to target the culprit not the victim.

P.S. I know that girls bully and that boys get bullied. But you never hear, "She likes you."

When I was young, there's this boy who keep disturbing me every chance he gets and when I went to talk to my friends about it, all they say was, : it's because he likes you. But of course there's another of my friend who said, : so if you hate him, in the future, you might marry him.  And I'm like O_O Dude, that guy is a huge jerk, why would I marry him??!!!?

People this days *facepalms*

My own mother has said that to me, and in my head, I'm thinking: The boy fucking hates me! This moron insults me daily and doesn't leave me alone! How the hell is that a sign that the moron LIKES me? I actually had a guy friend of mine crushing on me (we were literally crushing on each other), and he was a human being with a brain!

There are definitely ways you can tell. This one kid bullied me and liked me, you can tell because one kid told me that the bully kid liked me and the bully kid blushed. However, straight up bullying is NOT a boy liking a girl.

No one ever said it was an excuse, they say it's an explanation of why they do it.

And actually, ever heard of 'Hey Arnold!' The bully was a female who actually liked Arnold. I have heard plenty of people say 'She likes you.'

I've heard of the show, but I never really got into it, so I never saw that episode. Either way, bullying is not a sign of 'love'. It's abuse, only instead of an adult doing it to a kid, or to another adult, it's a kid doing it to another kid.

Oh, I never watched a single episode, I just heard that from a fan. And, yes, bullying is abuse, just in my opinion, not as significant as such things as domestic abuse.

Oh okay. Yeah, bullying needs to be ended. To bad teachers are pussies when it comes to that shit.

I wouldn't really know about that, I've never seen in person what I would consider bullying.
