No, I don't believe that Balto 2: Wolf quest is against God, but a lot of people do. Enjoy the lulz.

First off, the story was horrid. I know every movie is trying to make some kind of statement, but this was outright propaganda for humanism and naturalism. The first Balto, thankfully, stayed away from these topics that very few can relate to, and simply presented pure family-friendly entertainment. Balto 2, however, couldn't resist the urge to promote such philosophies as becoming "one" with nature (trees, etc.), following your own inner-instincts/leadings, allowing the spirits of the dead to guide you... and that's only the beginning. Sure, there's some good stuff about letting go of your fears and finding out "who" you are, as opposed to just "what" you are. But any good messages are buried deep in the mire of this "new-age" humanistic theology. There are also scenes where Balto's daughter tells her father that she "hates" him and that he's "hopeless." These attitudes, as well as the overall subject matter, are not themes I want to subject my children to. So, this movie's not for kids. Well, who else could it be for, then? It's not entertaining enough for adults, and it's not cool enough for teens.

My biggest problem with the movie was it was riddled with new age mysticism and earth worship. What is with all this mother moon, mother earth, grand design stuff. Hollywood needs to keep its religion to itself. I had a huge moral problem with the content of this movie and ended up turning it off about 3/4s of the way through. As I said before, as a Balto fan I sincerely wanted to like this movie, but in the end I simply could not stomach it.

The sequel; however, had too much humanism and naturalism themes in it that I as a Christian parent do not want my daughter to be exposed to at this early stage...and fortunately, half way through she was totally bored with it and begged to see the 1st Balto. There are also many frightening elements in the movie that does not make it a good movie for little kids, I'm talking about spirits that appear as real animals than whoosh disappear into thin air...overall even as an adult, I thought the movie was very boring and this is coming from someone who loves cartoons!

Even for one who cares about the earth and her inhabitants - this film is pitifully manipulative, poorly written, and an insult to its prequel. Skip it!

It looks like the storywriters were trying to write the "New Age Gospel" for kids and decided to use Balto and his daughter as the missionaries. If you're gonna do that at least give it a decent plot. Example: That little mouse that sings a song -- and a poorly-written song at that. It's entirely new-age-ish and doesn't really help the plot along at all.

Balto kept having frightening, creepy dreams throughout the movie (my son doesn't scare easily, but he was scared), Aleu (Balto's daughter) was awful to her parents, but the spiritism/animism was too much and we just turned it off. I won't let this kind of trash influence my child's beliefs.
NOT recommended.

I can't even tell you how spooky, bizzare and just plain terrible this movie is! There are creepy spirit creatures in dreams,a mouse singing to father sun and sister moon in the dark with creepy lights, and a great deal of disrespect to parents on Aleu's part.My mom and dad didn't even let us finish it.It is especiallt creepy how Balto's long dead mother appears as a white wolf out of nowhere all throughout the movie. Aleu tries to find her spirit in the stars and other weird things. Don't buy this movie if you don't want you're kids' heads filled with trash.

Okay, this movie dumbstrucked me. We don't want our children learning alue's personality traits, such as screaming and yelling at her father and telling him 'I hate you' and running away. Oh, and religon lies with the parents telling them whats what. We dont need this alaskan totem who-ha. Mother sun sister moon brother wind. Stupid,Stupid STUPID! The ghost thing and the nightmares scared my daughter. She was so afraid she had to have me sit in the room til' she fell asleep. This movie is pure trash. No one adopts alue cause she 'looks' like a wolf.

I watched this movie with my son, hoping it would be like the Balto story that he is reading in school and boy was I shocked. This movie is terrible, with the child dog acting with tremendous disrespect to her father and some really unnecessary "scary" scenes that add no value to the movie and only serve to drag on this terrible film. It pained me not to just turn it off and see it through to the end. And if you are a Christian, forget this movie.

Ok. First lemme say Im 17 I just didnt wanna fill out all that crap. :P Also firstly i'd like to say I LOVED the first one,
but this one...why? WAYY too much humanism and naturism and as a Christian, I was completely offended.

If you want to get your children catechised in Earth Worship using characters from a prequel, this is the movie for you. Rather than enjoying a movie with a sensible theme (adolescent daughter rebelling against her father...though that is hardly sensible), you are given a lesson in Earth worship with praises to 'Father, Son and Sister Moon'. We fast-forwarded through half of this crock.
Please, let the parents instruct their children in religion. Movie-Makers, stay out, mind your business and give us a story.

As alittle extra bones I'll throw in what some people said about All Dogs Go To Heaven (1 and 2)

This movie shows the youngesters a terrible world where the place in focus is a bar with drinking, smoking, then gambling and dirty lies. The subject is too intense for young viewers.

I used to watch this movie all the time as a little kid. Today,I watched this film in horror. I tried to remember if the film wasthat bad when I first saw it. The movie is so bizarrely sinister; Charlie is such a cruel character it isn't even funny. While the animation is quite dazzling, the images it displays are so negative, it's a wonder this is a kid's movie. The movie contains gambling, murder, death, smoking, and a truly upsetting nightmare sequence. When I wasn't cringing, I was bored. I had seen a website for the late child actress Judith Barsi (who voiced Anne Marie), and I learned what had happened to her shortly before this movie was released. If anything, this is the most depressingly sad movie ever conceived.

Wow, this movie was terrible and definitely not a G rated movie. Overall, it was very disjointed and featured such non G rated movie topics as murder, gambling, drinking(main character was drunk), smoking, hell, etc. I'm all for movies that tackle these subjects but a G rating implies this could be watched with a 6 year old.

Just because the cover illustration looks cute, it doesn't mean the movie is okay for children. I was shocked when I saw the movie, who ever heard of a children's video with characters who start the movie with murder, then move on to gambling, holding an orphan in a basement, lying and to top it all off, using a gun to shoot at characters? The story was bad, the music was bad, it's not for children!

It's clearly said, All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 is NOT for christians! I'm glad we only watched, not buy! In this, bad can happen in Heaven and there is no adventure in Heaven. There is a place for adventure in Heaven, and why did Charlie say there's no adventure if in this bad can happen in heaven? And Charlie chooses earth instead of heaven. I like Itchy or whatever because he LOVES heaven. While watching I sadly said, "It will have an unhappy ending!" and it did, Charlie choosing earth when heaven was an option. If you are a christian, don't buy this - it is against God. Signed, StoryMaker. "Gotta trust the kid's review!"

Just another reason not to have religion :D
God, some people are stupid. Well, I got news for you, you can't hid your kids from the real world forever.

And adolescent rebelling against his / her parent(s)...though that is hardly sensible Okay, how many adolescents do you know that are sweat little angels. It's normal and senceable able to rebell. Oh woman, I can't wait till your kids are teens and adolescents, because you are going to have one hell of a time :lmao:

These parents have Perfect Parent Syndrome. It's where you thing your a perfect parent know matter what, and you go out of your way to tell the world. Then once they hit the teens years, They pretty much hate you and resent you :D
